1. Adoption of the agenda
The Agenda of the meeting will be introduced and discussed. The rapporteur of the meeting will be designated.
2. Activities of the Working Group on Sustainble Aquaculture
Presentation and discussion of WGSA activities: focus on the main outcomes of the InDAM project; information will be given on activities for the dissemination of InDAM results.
3. Presentation of the project coordinated from the Spanish Aquaculture Observatory Foundation (FOESA)
Presentation of the main outcome of the project MEDITERRANE-ON (FOESA) focused on the Indicators
Afternoon session (14.30 – 17.00)
4. Pilot studies on Sustainable Indicators in the Mediterranean countries and follow up
Background information will be given on the Pilot Studies carried out in Morocco, Spain, Turkey and Tunisia. The extension of pilot studies in other areas to disseminate the experience gained will be discussed.

5. Pilot studies on Sustainable Indicators in the Mediterranean countries and follow up (cont.)
6. Presentation and submission of the guidelines of the project
Presentation of a Draft of “Guidelines”on the application of indicators for sustainable aquaculture, according to the methodologies applied and to the agreed schemes. Discussion on the Database of InDAM.
Afternoon session (14.30 – 17.00)
7. Selection of Regional indicators to be considered for sustainable development of aquaculture in the Mediterranean region
Expert’s discussion will be focused on the definition of regional indicators to be listed for a sustainable Mediterranean Aquaculture. Selection of indicators will be discussed, taking in consideration the WGSA Meeting in Malta, 25-26 November 2010, and the other Mediterranean initiatives such Mediterrane-on (FOESA) and other discussion.
Discussion will also focused on the different methodologies applied to assess the performance of the indicators (traffic light, scoring systems, e.g.)
Wednesday 16th November

8. WGSA on INDAM Programme of work for 2012 and beyond
The short- and medium-term workplan of the WGSA will be discussed.
9. Conclusion and Recommendations
Specific suggestions, identification and updating of priorities issues will be discussed among participant.
Particular attention will be given to the:
- Selection of Regional Indicators to be considered for the sustainable development of aquaculture in the Mediterranean region
- Suggestion on the application of the indicators for the sustainable aquaculture
- Priority issues for the WGSA and synergies with relevant projects and initiatives related to sustainable development of aquaculture existing in the Mediterranean area.
