EFFECTS OF TEMPERATURE REGIME ON BROODSTOCK CONDITIONING OF RUDITAPES DECUSSATUS

To optimize the conditioning procedure to obtain better larvae with lower `rpdictopm cpsts,Ruditapes decussatus broodstock was conditioned at different periods during the year under two differebt controlled temperature regimes: a constant temperature 20?C and a gradual increase in temperature from ambient to 20?C. Results showed that is most appropriate for conditioning R. decussatus broostock at different periods of the year with a gradual increase in temperature to obtain better larvae at lower production costs
